House rules & terms

Last updated 2026. Plain language, because nobody reads the other kind.

Who can be here

You must be 18 or older to use Chill Connect. One account per person. Don't hand your account to anyone else, and don't pretend to be someone you're not.

What's not allowed

  • Harassment, hate, threats, or targeting someone because of who they are.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor — ever.
  • Non-consensual intimate images, doxxing, or sharing someone's private details.
  • Scams, spam, mass-DMing, bots, or scraping the lounge.
  • Uploading a face, voice, or video that isn't yours to upload.
  • Illegal activity, or anything that puts the lounge or its members at risk.

Break these and we can mute you, remove your content, or close your account without warning.

Your content and your commercials

You keep ownership of the photos, video, voice, and messages you post. You give us permission to store and display them inside the lounge so the product works — showing your commercial in a room, your face on your profile, your messages in a chat.

Commercial-style spots must use your real face. Restyling is fine; hiding behind a blur, mask, or someone else's likeness is not.

Hosting a room

Hosts set the door policy and the tone of their room, and can mute members who break the rules there. Hosts earn a share of the ad revenue their room generates; the current share is shown in the host dashboard and can change with notice.

Passes and payments

The lounge is free. Optional passes unlock extras like private messages and hosting. Payments are handled by our payment processor — we never see your card details. Passes renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your profile.

Reports and moderation

Any member can report a message. Reports go to the crew, who can mute, remove content, or close accounts. We may keep a copy of reported content for safety records after it's removed from view.

No guarantees, no drama

The lounge is provided as-is. We can't promise it's always up, and we're not liable for what other members say or do. If you're in danger, contact your local emergency services — not a chat room.

Getting in touch

Questions, takedown requests, or safety concerns: reach the crew through the report button in chat or by writing to the address listed on our privacy notice.
